Rent a harp
By renting harps, my hope is to make it easier for people to access this beautiful instrument. All rental harps are available for a minimum of one month and discounts are given for longer time periods, if paid for upfront.
Each harp is serviced & regulated yearly and the strings are well maintained. Each harp comes with a cover, a tuning key and a string chart. Spare strings are not provided.
You must have house contents insurance in order to rent one of my harps. Harps will be thoroughly inspected and photos taken prior to new rentals. Condition photos will be provided upon the start of the rental. The condition of the harp will be checked upon return.
Each rental is $120 per month, plus a $400 damage holding deposit.
A 5% discount will be given for 3 months rent paid upfront and 10% discount for 6 months.
Pickup from Hornsby or Noraville. I can deliver the harp to you for an extra fee (delivery to Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong).
34 String Aoyama Harp - AVAILABLE from 1st May
This harp is lever tension strung, with nylon strings. This means that the harp has a sparkly folk-like sound and has a lighter feel to the strings. This lighter tension and adjustable height makes it perfectly suited for both children and adults, especially beginners. It comes with legs (pictured) which are easy to screw on or off to adjust the height.

36 String Tim Guster Harp - RENTED
This harp is Australian made by harpmaker Tim Guster in Adelaide. This harp is currently strung in lever tension, with gut strings. This harp has a rich & resonant tone and has a medium-tension feel to the strings. This 36 string harp is slightly taller than the others. The medium tension makes it perfectly suited for adults, beginner or more advanced. It's also suitable for children over the age of 8.

This harp is lever tension strung, with nylon and nylon-wound strings. This means that the harp has a sparkly folk-like sound in the high register. The lower register also projects especially well for its size. This lighter tension nylon makes it perfectly suited for beginners, especially children, but can also suit adults.

34 String Kempster Harp - AVAILABLE from 1st May
This harp is Australian made by harpmaker Peter Kempster. This harp is strung in pedal tension, with gut strings. This harp has a deep, clear tone throughout the whole register and has a pedal-harp feel to the strings. This higher tension makes it perfectly suited for beginner and more advanced students: both children and adults.
